After over 30 years of experience in the restaurant business in Europe and Canada, we have made our dream come true and opened July 2012 our restaurant Heidi's Island Bistro in Florida, Fort Myers Beach. We want you to feel comfortable & that you enjoy our great German and local dishes under the Sun in Florida. Heidi's serving Dinner from 4:30 pm - 9 pm. In our small attached bakery you will find some nice selections of sweets, Bread, German Rolls and Cakes & of course the famous Black Forest Cake. The team of Heidi's Island Bistro will do their best so that you have an unforgettable dining experience.

It was worth the drive from Cape Coral. My partner was craving German food on Sunday and this seemed to be the only spot open for lunch. The server was friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and portions were just right. I had potato pancakes and red cabbage and he had Nurnberg Bratwurst and spaetzle. Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream topped off the meal.

Competent and comfortable German eatery featuring affordable and very good food served promptly by our friendly and informative waitress. Good German draft brews and a nicely selected wine list. The apple strudel with ice cream for dessert is notable.

I've been to Heidi's several times and always have a great experience. Always a great meal at the best German restaurant this side of the Atlantic. Meals are delicious. Staff is friendly and amazing. Highly recommend!!!
